Therapy in Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks For Young Adults Launching into Adulthood
My direct personality, goal oriented nature, and knack for psychology have prepared me to aid young adults launching into adulthood and the parents helping them to do so. In my sessions my therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and deep understanding. I will attune to you by actively listening to you throughout sessions. During our journey, I will challenge you by providing new insights and assist in uncovering wounds. We will delve deep into the different factors contributing to the issue at hand and build a treatment plan customized to your goals and needs.
I am a practitioner of evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This approach has a history of proven applications for various therapeutic focuses including anxiety, anger, depression, low self-esteem, stress, codependency, and eating disorders.
I hold a masters of Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. My experience includes interning with Monte Nido Residential Treatment Center for Eating Disorders and client work in Teen Anger Management, high school support groups and Batterer Intervention with the Coalition for Family Harmony.
